HOME COMPOSTING STEP 2
The day finally arrived for our seed compost to be made.
We mixed equal amounts of rice bran and rice husk to form a fermenting bed.
Hanafi and Afiq stir in sugar and salt fermenting solutions bit by bit, adjusting the moisture level to 40% to 60%.
The moisture content is right if the mixture forms a lump without oozing out water when squeezed in the hand.
Store mixture in covered carton box for 3 to 5 days. Mission accomplished.
We were informed that the fermentation is complete when the content is covered with white mould.
Eco Frenz team was confident that the seed compost that we were preparing will turn out well...
