Wow..... It’s not that hard to save the earth!!!...
On the morning of 20th July, Pn NorAsmah from Departmental of Environment, Penang, arrived at our school. Eco Frenz team had invited her to give us a talk on environmental issues.

Our school hall was packed. The students listened attentively.... It was an eye opening experience for many of us in SMK Dato’ Onn... We didn’t know that aluminium cans can stay in our environment up to 500 years!!! For every tonne of paper that is recycled, 17 trees are saved...

The students were excited to take part in the quiz. Many prizes were offered and the students didn’t waste time to grab the prizes...

Later, we got the opportunity to see the exhibition prepared by D.O.E.
Interesting...
The talk and the exhibition really opened our eyes... and we realized that every responsible human being must play his role to care for environment. A big Thank You to D.O.E for ideas on saving the environment.
As for Eco Frenz team, we have duty to educate the people of SMK Dato’ Onn
Come on, everybody...
